Hello Animovers, Has anyone had success creating ltraj objects with large volumes (>100,000) of GPS locations?
I have just spent the better part of two weeks coding some loops to split my data and create a list of separate ltraj objects for each individual so that R is only processing a few thousand rows at a time. This, combined with shoddy R skills, is leading to additional problems with extracting information from each animal. I should add that I have about 20 individuals and am making a separate burst for each day they were observed.
