This is to inform you about the upcoming IPv6 Workshop and AfriNIC Member training event that will take place in Nouakchott (Mauritania) according to the following schedule: Dates: ------ 20/NOV/2008: IPv6 Workshop (V6-1: Introduction to IPv6) 21/NOV/2008: AfriNIC Member Training Venue: ------ We will send you more information about the venue and other logistic details about this training soon. Fees/Charges: ------------- The participation to the training is FREE of charge and open to our members and Network Operators in Priority. (Note that AfriNIC will not bear any transportation and/or accommodation costs of the participants). Target Audience: ---------------- This training session is for anyone interested in understanding the management of Internet number resources - requesting number resources from AfriNIC, understanding related policies and the policy development process, AfriNIC membership, and how to efficiently use/interact with the AfriNIC Whois database. The IPv6 module covers a practical introduction to the basics of IPv6, and how to setup and build a basic IPv6 network on various platforms/devices.
