Nombre de places disponibles: Les sieges sont limites a 30 places Audience visée : Toute personne intéressée par la gestion des adresses IP [Comment demander des adresses IP auprès dAfriNIC, comprendre les politiques de gestion dadresses et leur processus de développent, interaction et utilisation efficace des outils de gestion dadresses IP (WHOIS, MyAfriNIC)]. Le module IPv6 couvrira une introduction pratique à IPv6 et la necessite de sy convertir, la coexistence de IPv4/IPv6, le mecanisme de transition, et comprendre IPV6 Security comparativement a IPv4 Security. Fees/Charges: The participation in the training is FREE of charge and open to our members and Network Operators in that priority, however, it is open to anyone interested in understanding the management of Internet number resources. (Note that AfriNIC will not bear any transportation and/or accommodation costs for the participants). Seats : Please note that seats are limited to 30 places Target Audience: This training session is for anyone interested in understanding the management of Internet number resources - requesting number resources from AfriNIC, understanding related policies and the policy development process, AfriNIC membership, and how to efficiently use/interact with the AfriNIC Whois database. The IPv6 module covers a practical introduction to the basics of IPv6 and the need to transition to IPv6. It will also provide understanding on the IPv4/IPv6 coexistence, transition mechanisms, and the understanding of IPv6 Secutity as compared to IPv4 Security.
