Dear Colleagues,

Ebene - Mauritius, Tuesday 4th June 2013 - AFRINIC, the Regional Internet Registry for Africa in conjunction with the ICT Center of Excellence of Addis Ababa University has just concluded a four (04) day IPv6 and Internet Number Resources Management training course in Addis Ababa.

Running from the 28th – 31st May 2013, the event was held at New Building Hall 2, Addis Ababa University College of Computational and Natural Sciences, Arat Kilo and led by Mukom Akong Tamon and Nishal Goburdhan of AFRINIC. This event falls under AFRINIC's training program which aims to help network engineers in AFRICA better plan and manage Internet Number resources and IPv6 networks.

The course was attended by 50 participants from universities, the Ethiopian ministry of ICT and Ethio Telecom among others. We wish to extend our appreciation to with the ICT Center of Excellence of Addis Ababa University for hosting this workshop and making it a success.
