Hi all, Apache SkyWalking Team is glad to announce the first release of Apache SkyWalking Java Agent 8.15.0.
SkyWalking: APM (application performance monitor) tool for distributed systems, especially designed for microservices, cloud native and container-based (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos) architectures. The Java Agent for Apache SkyWalking, which provides the native tracing/metrics/logging abilities for Java projects. This release contains a number of new features, bug fixes and improvements compared to version 8.14.0 The notable changes since 8.15.0 include: 1. Spring Framework 6 and RestTemplate 6 are first-time supported. 2. Fix a thread leak in the dynamic sampling rate case. 3. Expose complete Tracing APIs in the tracing toolkit. 4. Move the baseline to JDK 17 for development(compiling), the runtime baseline is still Java 8 compatible.
