The Apache JMeter team is pleased to announce the availability of Apache JMeter 5.6.2 (e663d1d585).

This release fixes only a regression since v5.6 about the JMeter pom's files. See Github #6041.

JMeter 5.6.2 requires Java 8 or later for execution (Java 17 or later recommended).

The Apache JMeter application is a 100% pure Java application designed to test server applications.

When downloading, please verify signatures using the KEYS file:

Only the binary archive is needed to run JMeter - there is no need to
download the source archive.

However there are some optional libraries which are not included.
