-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all,
As most of you know, Justin stepped down from the Ops Manager position this week. It sucks, but so does life. The question is, how are we going to handle it? In keeping with our bylaws, we need to elect a new person to be a director within 4 weeks (he/she doesn't necessarily need to become the new ops manager, however, the board positions can be re-arranged at will). It makes the most sense to me to have an election for his position on November 27. That's a couple days late, but it's the last meeting in November and the most logical time to do it, in my opinion. If there are serious objects for leaving the position vacant for 4 weeks + 3 days, we can arrange something else. So take this as notice: On November 27, we'll be holding an election for Operations Manager. In the next week or so, Mak will let you know how to run and how the vote will be held! In the meantime, the board has appointed Ian Trump to work as acting Operations Manager. He has some valuable experience that we seriously need in the near future, and has agreed to help out to the best of his ability.
