A big thank you to Marc for posting the results of our four fine Libertarian candidates. I didn't home until after 2:00 a.m. this morning from my own Election Day work and am just now catching up. Arin, Don, George and Matt all posted healthy numbers and represented our Party well. They will all agree that running for office is a rewarding experience, and continuing to field candidates is what will grow our numbers even larger and voters see the LPVA as a party with serious ideas that is here to stay. You can help us grow even more by running for office next year. On May 6, 2008 30 cities will have council elections and 18 will have city school board races, along with 180 towns holding town council races. We have a Senate seat, all 11 Congressional seats, the Arlington County Board and School Board, seven city council slates, two city school boards and nine town councils up for election in November of 2008 -- just a year away. So thank you, thank you, thank you to Arin, Don, George and Matt! And if you or anyone you know is interested in running as a Libertarian, please let me know!
