A **VERY ROUGH** draft of the Agenda packet for Saturday's Virginia state
convention (see http://Convention.LPVA.com ) is now available for those who
want a copy. Our webmaster is out of the country for a few days and so I have
no way to upload it to the website -- otherwise, I would simply provide a link.
Therefore, I will collect emails of those who request the Agenda and send them
out directly.
The packet includes the current Constitution, Bylaws, and Standing Rules (we
call them Policy Documents), as well as other supporting material.
I have not received updated annual reports for various committees yet. A day
ago I received the annual reports from our esteemed Treasurer (many of you will
already have this if you subscribe to our SCC List); but have not had time to
put them in the agenda packet yet.
With that in mind, if you want a copy as-is, please send your request to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> at your earliest opportunity.

Now is also the time for you to propose amendments to the LPVA Constitution.
The earlier you send your proposals to me, the more time potential
conventiongoers will have to consider them.
Members in convention have the ultimate authority over the LPVA. If there are
any Bylaws, Policy Documents, or decisions of the State Committee made since
the previous convention you wish to change or overrule, the convention is the
place to have the members consider your initiative.
