Dear Colleagues:
The Redpath for Senate petition deadline is next Tuesday, June 10. Everything
has to be into the State Board of Elections by 7PM SHARP that day. It looks
highly likely that this petition will succeed, but we cannot let up until all
forms and petitions have been submitted.
If you have petitions that you want to send to me, please get them notarized
and into the mail to me by today--or Thursday at the absolute latest. (I
received something on Tuesday, June 3 that was mailed from Blacksburg on
Thursday, May 29, so I am a little bit queasy about even First Class Mail.) I
need to have them arrive in the mail in Leesburg by Monday, June 9 at the
latest. Anything arriving in the mail on Tuesday, June 10 will be too late.
Please mail them to my home address, which is on the petition. If you can't
get all of your sigs in the mail by Thursday at the latest, please call me at
703-864-2132 (my cell phone) to discuss what to do.
If you are petitioning for me through this weekend, I will need the sigs sent
to me on Monday via FEDERAL EXPRESS for Tuesday morning delivery (FedEx
Priority Overnight) at my WORK ADDRESS ONLY. Express Mail or anything through
the United States Postal Service sent on Monday will NOT do, as I cannot wait
for the mail delivery either at work or at home on Tuesday, June 10.

I will be getting to the State Board of Elections at 200 N. 9th St., Suite 101,
in Richmond, by late Tuesday afternoon at the latest. I can receive sigs there
on late Tuesday afternoon up until 7PM. Please call me ahead of time to let me
know if you will be doing that.
