1. Tidewater Libertarians Demand Accountability
================================================

From Don Tabor, 2/24/2009: "Tonight, I brought the Tidewater Libertarian
Party’s request for a citizen review board on the police procedures revealed by
the Ryan Frederick case to the Chesapeake City Council. I must have run a bit
long, as when I was wrapping up, Mayor Krasnoff asked me to wrap it up. It was
hard to read their reaction, I guess we will have to wait and see."

2. The Only Real 'Bailout'
================================================

So the economy continues its shakeout, escalating layoffs loom large, and
governments try to bring back the roaring 2k's with bailout scheme after
bailout scheme.

It won't work.

Here's the only bailout plan that will work:

1) Abolish the individual income tax & eliminate the IRS, 2) eliminate welfare
in its entirety, including the Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security Ponzi
schemes, 3) slash federal, state, and local government spending by 75% or more,
4) bring the troops home and de-mobilize them, 5) eliminate all but about ten
of the 150,000 pages of the Code of Federal Regulations, 6) repeal drug
prohibition and end the war on drugs, 7) eliminate all federal and state
law-enforcement activities except for agencies necessary to investigate
official corruption in local police departments, 9) remove all impediments to
starting up new businesses, such as zoning laws that limit making money to
areas zoned "commercial" or similar, and 10) cease the practice of official
state counterfeiting by stopping the printing presses and instead back the
dollar with commodities that have dependable value, such as precious metals
(or, better yet, allow competing coinage/currency).

Vote Libertarian.

3. Eric Holder Says Americans Are Cowards!
================================================

So Eric Holder thinks the United States is "a nation of cowards" on matters of
race, does he?

Well, now...

The truth is that society can't have a candid discussion on race because
politicians, lawyers, and leftists have all but prohibited it. Mr. Holder is a
member by choice of all three categories.

Anyone who dares to utter a peep that isn't Politically Correct gets labeled a
bigot.

Here are a few ideas for Mr. Holder:

- Individual rights should not be denied, abridged, or enhanced at the expense
of other people's rights, on the basis of sex, wealth, race, color, creed, age,
national origin, personal habits, political preference, or sexual orientation
by the laws at any level of government.

- Government-imposed discrimination disrupts the normal relationships of
people, sets neighbor against neighbor, creates gross injustices, and
diminishes human potential. Anti-discrimination enforced by the government is
the reverse side of the coin, and will for the same reasons create the same
problems.

Mr. Holder, if you want a frank discussion on race relations, why don't you
work to eradicate all government attempts to regulate private discrimination,
including discrimination in employment, housing, and privately owned so-called
public accommodations? The right to trade includes the right not to trade --
for any reasons whatsoever.

Mr. Holder, if you and the rest of your friends in government would stop
forcing people to mix when they prefer not to, they will mix more peacefully in
their own time and at their own discretion. Consider this: without any law
forcing them to do so, the number of marriages between whites and blacks went
from 65,000 in 1970 to 422,000 by 2005. Among all interracial couples, they
represented two percent of marriages in 1970 according to a Stanford University
study. In 2005, that number was up to seven percent.

If Mr. Holder and his fellow busybodies in the nanny sector would just leave
Americans alone, and get out of both their bedrooms and boardrooms, Americans
will find the way forward just fine, thank you.
