Friends,
There are now only 4 days remaining until election day. As I've said many
times before, things have been going very well for our campaign. However, it
is vitally important that we push hard in these last few days. For that, WE
NEED YOU!
First, we need you to help us distribute flyers door-to-door on Saturday and
Sunday this weekend. We will meet at 10:00am on both days at:
Kings Park Giant - Side Parking Lot
8970 Burke Lake Rd.
Springfield, VA 22151
AN RSVP IS NOT REQUIRED, but it is helpful. So, please reply to this e-mail if
you know that you will be coming on either day (or both).
Second, we need you to hand out sample ballots in front of a polling place on
Tuesday. Polls are open from 6am to 7pm, and we need people for various times.
If you are available for even just a couple of hours, please e-mail Kara
Tappan at <mailto:[email protected]>[email protected]. In your e-mail,
please include the hours that you are available to work. This is a very easy
job, but it is an extremely important one. Please do what you can to make it
out for a few hours.
Finally, YOU ARE INVITED TO OUR ELECTION NIGHT GATHERING at Kilroy's in
Springfield. We'll spend the evening watching election results come in on TV,
and just enjoying the final night of our great campaign. Light food and soft
drinks will be provided. Alcoholic beverages are available. We'll be there
from 7pm until 9:30 or so. Please come on out and join us.
