MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Eric Kasten, Chesterfield Libertarian ================================================ This author first met Eric Kasten at a meeting of the Chesterfield Libertarians in 2009. Recently I became aware of his activities outside of the LP; and to say the least, he leads a life of diverse interests. From his bio: [Eric] has spent 16 years in the telecommunications industry. He worked his way up from technician, to engineer, and finally to project manager. He acquired his Bachelors in Business Management in 2002 and his Project Management Professional certification in 2009. Early in his career, he worked internationally, as a technician, in Germany, South Korea and Argentina. In 1995, Eric met his wife while working in Argentina. They now have two daughters. Prior to visiting Germany as a technician, he was also stationed there as an M1A1 Armor Crewman while in the US Army. In 2005, Eric became a member of Screen Actors Guild after working as a background actor on several movies, TV series and HBO series. He also appeared in the Baltimore Opera's 2005-2006 production of La Boheme as the Drum Major. His favorite appearance was in America's Most Wanted as an undercover police officer.
