This is just a friendly reminder -- the 2012 Libertarian Party of Virginia
State Convention will take place on Saturday, February 25, at the Richmond
Marriott in downtown Richmond. Please join us for what should be an exciting,
informative day with your fellow Libertarians!

        http://Convention.LPVA.com

Those attending the convention must be registered so that we can provide your
name tag, credentials, and assign your voting or non-voting status. Note that
there is NO CHARGE to attend the "Business Session" if you are a current,
dues-paid member of the Libertarian Party.

Additional events that are not part of the Business Session will be available
at modest cost. We have a great day of informative programming ready for you,
so of course we encourage you to support them by purchasing a package. The
best part is that right now and through February 20, we have a great "Early
Bird" deal available, so register now and select the package that interests
you. Complete information, including pdf versions of the convention flyer and
registration form are available online right now, at:

        http://Convention.LPVA.com

If you are a member of the LPVa, shortly you will be receiving a mailing that
includes this information as well as a registration form; but it helps our
volunteer staff if you print the form from the website and register early.

-----------------------

The doors to the Convention will open with registration on Saturday, February
25 at 8:30 a.m. The convention will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the business

additional cost, as part of member dues. Non-members may attend the business
session with the permission of the membership and a payment of $10.00
(non-members may also join the Party prior to the opening gavel).

See you on February 24 & 25th!

   Libertarian Party of Virginia

P.S. The Richmond Marriott is located at 500 East Broad Street, Richmond, VA.
Please note, as we mentioned in previous reminders, the convention room rate
was guaranteed only through February 3rd. However, it never hurts to ask them
if they can still honor the $128.82 (including tax) LPVA reduced rate. If the
operator is unable to let you use the reduced rate, try asking to speak to a
supervisor and request that he override and grant you the rate. If you have an
auto club such as AAA, the discount might get close to the expired rate. Room
reservations can be made via the Marriott reservation line at (800) 228-9290 or
the Marriott website at www.marriott.com. You should mention the "Libertarian
Party of Virginia convention" when using the reservation line. Information
about the Richmond Marriott can be viewed at http://www.marriott.com/Richmond .
Our block of guest rooms at the hotel is for February 24 and February 25.
