Now that the holidays are over, it's time to get back to business, and boy, do we have some work to do. The "other guys" are talking about gun control, making millions more drug prohibition arrests, domestic drones and spying, getting into more wars, and what will probably end up being the largest round of tax increases by any government, ever. If there was ever a time when the "Idiocracy" needed to be challenged at the ballot box by Libertarians, this is *it*. So let's roll up our sleeves and get to work. I am writing you today to invite you to attend the 1st quarter State Central Committee meeting of the LPVA. The meeting be held this Saturday, January 12, 2013, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Here is the complete itenerary: ******************************************************************** 11:30 - Lunch at Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant (Meeting room, Dragon Palace Restaurant, 129 S Carlton St., Harrisonburg VA 22801). At that price of course a lot of what's on the buffet line is fried and you don't get anything special; however, they do have a Mongolian grill that is included with the buffet. You pick the fresh vegetables & meats as you wish, season them to your taste, and they cook it for you on the spot. Of course they also have 4 long buffet tables to get the usual Chinese staples (beef & broccoli, Genl Tso's Chicken, etc but I prefer the fresh grill. I eat here pretty much once a week, and have never been displeased with the food or service. 1:00 pm - SCC MEETING begins.
