The Virginia Education Association -- the rent-seeking arm of Government Propaganda Centers -- will be holding a rally on the Capitol grounds in Richmond on Saturday, April 18 at 3 p.m. https://actionnetwork.org/events/put-kids-first-rally The purpose of the rally is to agitate 1) to eliminate standardized testing; and 2) for the increased theft of your wealth to put more of it into the hands of educrats around the state. Wouldn't it be cool to have a counter-rally? Signs could run the gamut of freedom-oriented alternatives, from school-choice ("Vouchers Now", or "End the Monopoly") to outright elimination of government schools ("Pay Your Own Way", "Users Should Pay", "Empower Teachers: Privatize the Schools",and "Increase Accountability: Let the funds Follow The Child"). Make up a sign or two and head over if you can! I've been to things like that as the lone counter-protester before myself -- and usually ended up getting interviewed by the media.
