Hello, Virginian Libertarians! We've got some updated information for those of you who are planning to join us at Longwood University in Farmville tomorrow to rally for Bill Weld's right to inclusion in the VP Debate.
We will be rallying at Longwood University between noon and midnight. You don't have to be there the entire 12 hours -- please just arrive when you can and stay as long as you can. Wear your Johnson/Weld shirts and bring a sign if you have one. We'll have extra shirts and signs available if you don't. KEY LOCATIONS: <http://tinyurl.com/letbilldebatemap>http://tinyurl.com/letbilldebatemap PARKING: All large parking lots on or near campus are reserved. There will be LIMITED on-street parking throughout town and there's public parking lots near the courthouse at 111 South Street. PLEASE ORGANIZE A CARPOOL! MAIN EVENT: The "VP Jubilee" begins at noon outside the Student Union building. Open to the public but Longwood students, faculty, and staff have priority admission. The public entrance is on Madison Street. Please note these restrictions: - You must have photo ID. - Signs must be professionally printed (not handwritten), no larger than 3ft by 6ft, and cannot be on stakes or other handles. - No weapons. You will be wanded and searched by security at the entrance. - No backpacks, large purses, chairs, coolers, etc. Bringing a blanket to sit on is OK. - No pets.
