A quick update from your friends at the Apache OpenOffice project.

We're planning an refresh of our 3.4.1 release for January. This
update will be focused on extending our native language support to
include the new translations that our volunteers are working on, for
example Danish, Norwegian Bokmål, Scotts Gaelic and Uighur. The exact
list included will depend on which translations are complete by our
December 31st "translation freeze" deadline.

We also have several other translations that are "nearly complete"
(over 90% complete). We can include these translations in January,
but only if we have additional volunteers to complete the
translations.

This is where we need your help. If you are fluent in any of these
languages, and have time in December to help finish the translations,
we want to hear from you.

These almost complete translations include:

Korean, Polish, Asturian, Uighur, Icelandic, Indonesian, Welsh,
Catalan, Bulgarian, Latvian, Greek, Basque, English (South Africa),
Portuguese, Swedish, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Irish, Oriya and
Turkish

For more information on how to help, please see our "How to Help
Translate Apache OpenOffice" page: http://s.apache.org/kUg

Remember, we have a December 31st deadline for completing translations
for our refresh of Apache OpenOffice 3.4.1. But we welcome new
volunteers at any time, and translations completed after the deadline
can be including in later releases.

Regards,

-Rob

P.S. Thanks in advance if you can help share this "Call for
Volunteers" with other interested parties who might be able to help.
