If you are a NYC/TriState area women you will be interested in this group.
New York Women's Business Support Online (NYWBSO) is dedicated to the
support of New York Women in New Media -- whether wannabee, just starting out,
or established.
The group's mission is to establish a network of women who can
cooperatively and interactively discuss all business-related
issues. Issues include: brainstorming new business ventures, legal
issues, negotiations, advice on job searches and refocusing skills,
personal growth in business, resources, mentoring, alternative methods of
learning, industry events and discounts, and much more.
NYWBSO's membership is limited to women in the Tri-State Area (New York,
New Jersey, and Connecticut). The purpose is to enable and encourage women
with similar business interests and goals to meet and network with each
other in person.
No question is too silly or too trivial. All questions are welcome, as
long as they are related to the group's focus.
