Purpose: With today's job market, it is important for all of us to begin and
continue to network with others in our community-especially OUR community.
The purpose of this discussion group is to provide a space to discuss
career/job related issues. For example: Career change decisions; Workplace
issues one is going through; Handling being downsized or laid off; Job
searching and interviewing; Resume questions; Career/resume site
suggestions; Good companies to work for as a GLBT person; Coming out at
work; and many other issues people will bring to the group.
In addition, this will be a safe place for us to discuss our situations and
questions with the most sincerity and respect for each other. While this
group will be unmoderated, it will be monitored and unqualified submittals
will not be tolerated. PLEASE: NO pornographic material, and NO advertising
of any sort as well as NO links to websites other than those related to
careers/job searches. If unrelated email becomes out of hand, the discussion
will become moderated.
This site is hosted by Vincent who has been a management recruiter and
career coach for over 10 years. Let's spread our knowledge and assistance to
