The 2010 WISPA Regional Meeting in St. Louis on July 21st and 22nd is
gathering very positive response from Vendors, Speakers and Members.
Original thoughts about the meeting were that the majority of the draw to
this meeting would come from the Midwest area surrounding St. Louis.
However, WISPs from as far away as Washington State, Idaho, Texas, North
Carolina, Vermont and Virginia have already engaged WISPA to attend the
meeting.

The speaker panels are filling up nicely and there are also three committed
Keynote speakers, including Julius Knapp from the FCC OET division, Mike
Cassity from HiBeam Internet and Voice and Steve Coran from RiniCoran PC
(WISPA's Washington attorney). The registration website is updated
regularly as the agenda is finalized. The agenda can be seen and
registrations can be made at http://wispaslrm.eventbrite.com. All attendees
including speakers and vendors are required to register.

Booth Space is also filling up and due to space limitations, it will be
filled on a first come first serve basis. Vendors interested should fill
out the Vendor Sponsorship flyer as soon as possible to insure availability
of exhibition space. The hotel meeting space can only handle 200 attendees,
which includes vendor reps. Once this level is reached the registration
will be closed.

The WISPA Board is excited with the interest in the meeting so far. If this
meeting is successful, we are most likely to schedule more meetings like
this in various parts of the country next spring or summer.

Hotel reservations can be made at the
<http://www.holidayinn.com/hotels/us/en/stlop/hoteldetail> Holiday Inn St.
Louis Airport. There is a link to the online hotel reservation page on the
<http://wispaslrm.eventbrite.com> Registration page. The room rate is $89
per night and the group code is WIS. There is a free shuttle to and from
the airport as well as free internet service. We are in the process of
facilitating extra bandwidth to the hotel to meet the expected demand.

Local St. Louis area WISPs will be featured during the event, including St.
Louis Broadband, WisperISP and HiBeam. Of particular interest will be the
WISP Roundtable discussion on the first evening of the meeting. Patterned
after the CEO Roundtable from past ISPCON events, we decided to open this
discussion to all WISP employees. The Roundtable will be moderated and
various topics affecting WISP businesses will be discussed openly with
contributions from anyone who wishes to speak. It is a wonderful method of
learning "best practices" from other companies in the industry. This type
of discussion is often the most popular and is well worth the investment in
travel, hotel and registration fees.

All WISPs are invited to attend. If a WISP is not currently a member, we
are offering a $50 discount to your annual dues by offering a non-member
rate of $300 to attend. Member rate is $100. Non-members will get a one
year annual membership to WISPA for $200 by attending this meeting.
