Telebeep, Inc. I started in the wireless business in June of 1984 as a 2 way radio installer for a Motorola Service Shop in Northeast Nebraska. I became one of the owners in 1986 and bought out my business partner in 1997 and became sole proprietor. We are currently a WISP (since 2001), covering a 7 county area which includes nearly 2000 sq. miles. We are an Exclusive US Cellular authorized Agent, a 30+ year Motorola 2-Way Radio Service Shop as well as a Paging Common Carrier with coverage in 20 counties in Northeast Nebraska. Our headquarters are located in Norfolk, NE. Our wireless internet network is 100% Motorola Canopy product. We do have a handful of Trango 45 meg backhauls in our network, but the remaining backhauls are Motorola products and range from 20 meg up to the PTP800 microwave. We continue to see record growth year over year and are continuing to expand out to area communities. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Compulinx, Inc. of Kentucky. KyWiFi started operations in 2004 and has about 300 subscribers. KyWiFi broadcasts on water tanks, communication towers, and grain silos located in Montgomery, Clark, Bourbon, and Bath counties. Compulinx is a consulting company wholly owned by Rick and Carol Gunderson and has been in business since 2004. Rick's work experience is as follows: . IBM - Field Engineer - 10 years .
