All,
It has been a long and hectic weekend and Monday for DJ Anderson and myself as we work out any bugs and issues that may have developed during the mailing list transition. A couple housekeeping bullet points are below. 1. DNS changes were made with a low TTL to decrease the time needed for the new DNS record to propagate. If I said that wrong, I never was good with that kind of thing. 2. About 100 mailing lists were moved, copied, archived and tested. The settings of each list were maintained as closely as possible 3. The IP address of WISPA outgoing mail is now 216.146.225.121 in case you need it for your own spam filters 4. Some email addresses were unsubscribed during the transition. If you have stopped getting email from any particular mailing list in which you are interested, please either resubscribe by going to http://www.wispa.org/mailing-lists or let me know. 5. If you have sent an email to a mailing list that has not been posted to the list yet, you were either unsubscribed or the DNS records have not propagated fully yet. 6. DJ is prepared to assist anyone with mailing list issues. His email address is [email protected]. If you have received bouncebacks or other automated mailing list notifications that are the result of sending an email that did not arrive, then send those to DJ as well to better help him analyze the situation. 7. Everything should be back to normal in a few days. Thank you for your patience! <http://www.wispa.org/where-there-is-a-wisp-there-is-a-way> Where there is a Wisp, there is a way!
