CARLSON JOINS ISPAMERCA IN FURTHERING THE TV WHITE SPACE REVOLUTION

 

WISPA and FISPA will be partnering once again for an annual conference in
Lake Buena Vista, Florida entitled the ISPAmerica 2012 Symposium.  This
year's event is scheduled from March 26th to March 30th at the Disney's
Coronado Springs Resort <http://www.disneyurl.com/ISPAmerica2012>  at
<http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/> Walt Disney WorldR.

 

Tuesday, March 27 is TV White Spaces day featuring a TVWS Workshop
highlighted by a keynote by Julius Knapp, FCC Chief of OET, as well as many
valuable panels and presentations by representatives from Carlson, Spectrum
Bridge, Neul, Telcordia, and more. 

 

Jim Carlson, CEO of Carlson Wireless and pioneer in TVWS rural broadband
radio, will report on the Yurok Native American Reservation trial at 10:15
during the "Real World Deployment Projects Panel", then at 11:00 he will
participate in the TV White Space Equipment Vendor Presentations panel,
followed by tabletop exhibits for demonstrations and training at noon, and
finally, at 3:15 Jim will take part in a panel called "White Space Q&A Panel
Discussion". 

 

During the expo at booth 508, Carlson and Neul will once again jointly
demonstrate the super synergy between their RuralConnect TV White Space
rural broadband radio, and Telcordia's database system.  

 

We invite all WISPA members to attend this important conference in order to
continue to stay current on the forthcoming Super Wi-Fi revolution.
