Hola ant-dev-help, Ant needs 68MB RAM to compile 523 files (around 2,98MB of code). (Win2000 + JDK 1.3 + ant 1.2alpha3). This is an open source proyect so we don�t like to exclude poor students with low end systems.
I think Ant should have an option to launch a javac each xxx files, one task after another, to keep low memory footprint. I read the code and it seems fairly easy to do, did I miss something? -- Thanks for your time, Alejandro
