Hmmm - I missed the original discussion, but in general I would definitely vote for carefully printing nested exceptions and their stack traces, etc.
Working in Xalan-land, programmatically it's nice to have TransformerExceptions and SAXExceptions, which can wrapper any internal throwables in a common way - but you have to be careful to make sure the outer exception also makes sense to a command line user or the like, so it's nice to be sure to propage any inner message out to the outer exception, and it's definitely good to print the whole wrapped up ball of all the exception's stack traces. - Shane ---- you Stefan Bodewig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: ---- > I agree with Jesse, does anybody else have an opinion on this?
