Copy task strips execute permissions on unix

Summary: Copy task strips execute permissions on unix
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.3
          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Copy task will strip permissions on the destination files. Specificly execute
permission disapears upon coppying. This renders the copy command void in
instances where executable files need to be moved. I am assuming this is a unix
related problem.
