Delivering a jar w/ all ejb related tasks and w/ a modified
default.properties in the jar and setting it in the system classpath to
override the delivered tasks is IMHO way more simple and less risky.

It is not rare to have some users using ant.jar v 1.x w/ an optional.jar
v1.y because they 'forget it', so it is risky to me to add another
deliverable in the field.

I think it would be better as well to post your request in ant-user and to
ask for feedback with an explicit subject in your mail.

Requesting feedback from users in mail being a reply to a patch
submission...is probably not hitting a single target. Just imagine that I
have about a dozen of replies for something as widely use as JUnit.

It's only a tracability issue. No sweat but IMHO you'd better avoid it and
certainly never do this where you will be working in the future or you will
shoot yourself in the foot w/ a nuclear bomb. :)
