Cool, thanks for the description. I'm printing that and will read it carefully.
I've been running it through checkstyle so I think it should be coding style compliant. Actually, one exception, I do not have spaces after casts. If you want to run your audit tool, I think both Oliver and I would be interested to see any other problems.
