Hi Steve,
I'm not sure what the "archive extension" is, how can I check it? Just
another thought, this problem only occurs when the directories do not
already exist locally. (Gets into an existing tree work just fine.)
Just in case it helps, here's the target I'm using:
<property name="pvcs.executable.path"
value="r:/pvcs_vm/application/VM/Win32/Bin"/>
<property name="pvcs.repository" value="r:\pvcs_vm\buildtest"/>
<pvcs pvcsbin="${pvcs.executable.path}"
repository="${pvcs.repository}"
pvcsproject="/src"
userid="myid:mypwd"
filenameFormat="{0}-arc({1})"
/>
<!--
linestart=""R:"
updateonly="true"
-->
Thanks for the help,
Dan

Hi Dan,
I'm one of the developers who worked on the pvcs code. I can
attest to it working fine with mapped drives in windoze,
however there are a couple of tricks. I'm curious to know
what the archive extension used in your PVCS installation is,
for starters.
