http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=11270 FileSet and DirSet break if the directory does not exist ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-07-30 08:01 ------- Solving this bug should also solve bug 11214. The bug 11214 is about fileset used in the uptodate task. I proposed a patch for bug 11214 that assume that it is the desire behavior that the fileset throws a Exception when we called getDirectoryScanner, except when it's done for a task. What is the wished behavior for task using inexisting fileset. Do we never want a exception, or do we want a exception for some task and not for others? I think task like copy should throws a exception if the fileset is for a inexisting directory.
