http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12522 taskdef ignores CLASSPATH ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-09-11 13:25 ------- Firstly let me say, do NOT place ant.jar in $JAVA_HOME/lib/ext. Only JDK extensions should be placed into this area. Classes in this area are considered to be trusted and may not dynamically load classes outside the bootclasspath (they won't be able tosee them). So, applications like Ant (and JUnit) which load user classes dynamically will not work if they live there. The best place to put jars for Ant is in $ANT_HOME/lib. If all the classes are in there you will not need a classpath on your taskdef (you don't say whether you have that). If you do have a classpath on the <taskdef> You may be running into problems due to delegation between the taskdef's loader and the system loader. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
