http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=9995 MKS Source Integrity tasks ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-11-11 21:19 ------- Darcy, Sorry for not having replied to your question. I just did not pay attention to it. What is your position about actually offering these downloads from your site ? I figure out that you may prefer actually to be shipped as a default with Ant for some sort of 'free ad', but our position in the last year has been to actually push as much as possible the maintenance of COTS-related tasks outside Ant. The problem that may happen is that your tasks will end up not being maintained and maybe not working with the latest release, as for example the Sitraka tasks and the Websphere one with the current Ant version. Add to this the fury of merge/acquisition between companies these days and this quickly become deprecated or not functional. There are no committers using MKS Integrity, and the release date are obviouslly differents, this may obviouslly cause problems. Having the Ant tasks on your side you will be able to enhance and maintain them quickly always in sync with your product.
