I should probably not have copied the list on some of the replies,
but... it is useful to remember some basics and I do not wish to dig
up an old rotting cow, but "the definition of abuse" comes to mind.

We also need to be reminded from time to time something that HRH Prince
Olaf said, which is very true: "as the internet is a hostile place"

For example: On this mailing list: Tolerance
The ratio between tolerance vs the choice to take offense is the same
ratio we can apply to interoperability vs abuse

At which point is abuse so bad. How much abuse, how long is a piece of
string?

These things are not always decided by clients or money but by normal
people. And I always assume that people are like me (as we all do and
as we all love to project our frame of reference unto others - so things
makes more sense to ourselves) I know that I have many flaws, I make a
lot of mistakes, even though I try real hard to make as few as possible,
there is always an error that slips in here or there. I am not perfect
but I am not evil. Yes, I am a wolf. Yes, I am an obnoxious thick
skinned abuse admin, yes, I eat sheep. - but i am not BOFH and I love
people, life and always try to see the good in everyone. Does that make
me an idiot? probably. but it is what it is. (and yes, my fingers know
no filters - i say what i feel and think without re-writing or thinking
about it for even 5 minutes - this means that much of what i say is raw
and sometimes very wrong (and sometimes very right) - but it is always
honest and from the heart.

So, back to RBL & DNSBL

There are some controversial questions to be asked, seriously asked:
On auto de-list only - Should the list times be increased or decreased
(when taking into consideration new tech)

And, to be clear, I am wishing to talk about this as it relates to open
and well maintained ranges, ignoring fake 102's and master drop lists.
Well maintained ranges where xyz vps exists and startups come and go
