Dear Friends,
I counted more than 100 messages in the last two days. I'm sure everyone is so
overloaded with this as I am. If you give an average of 4-5 minutes for every posting
on the list, it does more than 3 hours a day reading only messages from
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and most of us are subscribed to many other lists, plus personal
mail, etcetera.
This is not useful.
There've been quite a lot posting taken from mainstream media which are ready
available online in their respective websites. They don't provide us with anything but
the 'official' storyline that is known by every of us. It's not simply about deleting
the messages you don't want, setting up mail-filtering rules, and so on, because,
first of all, those emails need to be downloaded and not everyone can afford a cable
or DSL connection or similar stuff: please take into account that in many countries
the bandwidth is not more than 28.8Kbits and that's pretty slow, also phone bills are
paid per minute, etcetera.
Alright, what I'm trying to say is that if we like to keep this list as a useful
working tool, we need to think twice before hitting 'forward' (there've been several
double postings too -as Stratfor- , so check your inbox to see if somebody else sent
it before than you); to stop sending 'me too' replies to the whole list and to
PRIORITISE contents, levaing outside any off-topic for a while.
Hope you'll understand the situation. It is not a criticism to any list member, but an
'emergency measure' because of the current crisis/impending war.
