Joint war exercises condemned ===================== Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- Papers here today describe the war exercises under way in South Korea according to the U.S. imperialists' war scenario to invade the northern half of Korea as a product of the policy of aggression against the DPRK pursued by the bush group to stifle it and realise its strategy for world supremacy. Rodong Sinmun news analyst says: The ongoing joint war exercises are based on the geo-political vantage of the Korean Peninsula and the deep-rooted hostility toward the DPRK of the Bush group which is justifying war under the pretext of combating terrorism in the wake of the "September 11 Incident." They are frantic war gambles to invade the northern half of Korea camouflaged as military manoeuvres. It is clear to everyone that outsiders try to provoke a war against the people in the northern half of Korea and impose a nuclear holocaust upon the Korean nation. Following the war moves of outsiders, far from standing on the side of the fellow countrymen, is the grisliest treachery that can be committed only by those who ceased to remain Koreans. The South Korean warmongers join in the manoeuvres against the fellow countrymen aspiring after peace and reunification of the country. This betrays their criminal intention to prolong their remaining days with the backing of outsiders in return for their anti-reunification treacheries. They are seriously mistaken. The Korean people hardly repress their surging indignation at the U.S. imperialists and the South Korean bellicose elements. If the aggressors dare unleash a nuclear war in this land, outsiders and those who follow them will have to pay a deserved price for their treacheries.
