All that would remain then would be for someone to think it.

In other words the US's primary competitor.

US is not suffering occupation by German troops as Germany is US troops.

Exactly so and they do so without a hint of imperial interest?

US made most of the running attacking Korea, Vietnam, Panama with tacit
NATO approval while the attack on Iraq was led by the main part by NATO
    countries.

    Officially no, tacitly yes.

57 years ago Germany and US were engaged in full-scale imperial
war against each other a war which was the fulfilment of capitalist competition.
There were no doubt moments of reflection and indecision as to where in the World
and at what moment the fighting would take place but take place it did.

>Germany (and France and Britain) will wholeheartedly

>U.S.-initiated military aggression anywhere in the

Not possesing a crystal ball it would be impossible to say but clearly we
can say that the politico-economic competition between what remain after
all imperial powers each striving to protect and expand the interests of their
own capitalist elites and the social system over which they prevail is now
    coming to the fore.

To fail to recognise that at the very moment NATO is seeking to present
a united front to the rest of the World it is increasingly riven with division
due to the inherent contention of our old 'friend' capitalistic competitiveness
would be to accept the propaganda of 'globalisation' at face value.

>This isn't 1950 or even 1990.

    No, its 1984 :-)

>Which is why we need to expose and oppose NATO and

Declaring a steel embargo as the basis of 'free trade' demands that
we recognise NATO is busily dismantling itself.

>Period.

    Comma,

    Bill.
