Dear Fellow List Members,
I'd urge us
all to continue working for the common cause - peace
and international justice - and not get sidetracked by
terminological disputes.
The term Yiddish, as we know, refers to a
Platt-Deutsch language spoken by most Jews in Europe
and has no necessary link to Zionist or any other
political or ideological trend.
We need all the unity, across ethnic and religious
divides, we can build at the moment.
The unity of the people of Venezuelan people over the
past twenty four hours demonstrates in the most
exhilerating way what can be done when all unite
around common interests and not allow themselves to be
set against each other based on historical and
sociological distinctions.
