Interfax Ukraine December 19, 2009 Ukrainian president insisting on Ukraine's joining NATO, withdrawal of Russia's Black Sea Fleet from Sevastopol Kyiv: Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has again said that it is necessary for Ukraine to join NATO and withdraw Russia's Black Sea Fleet from Sevastopol. The head of state gave his views at the Forum of Ukrainian Nationalists held in Kyiv on Saturday. Yuschenko said that no one as a candidate to the Ukrainian president, apart from him, speaks about the necessity of Ukraine's joining NATO.
