uhhh.. i've got a bit of an interesting issue... ..and yes, i realize no one here runs as 2.1. the recent code red worm that exploits an iis bug has an issue with AOLserver 2.1 on win 2k. the hideous, mallformed http request the worm uses to propogate stops a running as. as just stops cold, leaving *no* errors in the server log. on nt 4, as 2.1 doesn't have this issue. does anyone have ideas how i could setup a development enviorment to figure out a work-around for this issue? i need a way to generate the http request the worm uses to propogate. for those who are not familiar with the worm info can be found at: http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-2001-19.html http://www.eeye.com/html/Research/Advisories/AL20010717.html ideas appreciated, jeff http://orionfx.com/
