>Description:
It would be an excellent idea to prefix any error type messages with a few
characters such as "ERROR:" in each of the real error statements so that
by using GREP the poor web/systems administrator can easily identify an
error statement from a reporting that a CGI script has been executed.

If you are interested, I have made this change and can make the diff's
available for suexec.c in the 1.2.4 release. The 1.3 release should be
identical but has been re-pretty formatted so it looks a lot different
now.
