A lot of DSO-related problems were already fixed between 2.1 and 2.2.8 (the current mod_ssl version). Please try again with the trio Apache 1.3.6 + mod_ssl 2.2.8 + OpenSSL 0.9.2b. It worked fine with DSO on my Solaris 2.6 box... Ralf S. Engelschall [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.engelschall.com
