I downloaded the latest version of Apache 1.3.9 and installed. I upgraded the OS from RH 5.2 to RH 6.0. Now the version I am seeing in a test-cgi program is 1.3.6 which was bundled with RH 6.0. I have reinstalled the 1.3.9 version again. I wish to stop the older version and use the later version. Unable to locate or find documentation in this regards.
