Hi,
I've installed the rpm of APE 1.0. I want it to use it as a service (so I can do "service aped start" and "service aped stop" to start/stop the server) and to have it automatically start at boot up.
On this page - http://www.ape-project.org/wiki/index.php/Centos/Red_Hat/Fedora_Startup_Script - the first instruction is "Copy the script in this file : /etc/init.d/aped".
Can someone explain what it is meant to mean please? For a start, that file doesn't exist, and if it did where am I meant to copy it to?
