Subject: [APE Project] setting up APE

I'm trying to install ape on a centos server which is running several
virtual hosts.
I installed the package and i'm in the middle of configuring it on the
server, however I'm stuck at this point. I get this error
Running test : Contacting APE Server
Can't contact APE Server. Please check the your APE Server
is running and the folowing url is pointing to your APE server :
http://ape.loreaon.com:6969
Something went wrong. If you can't fix it by yourself post
a message on the newsgroups with the output below or join our IRC
channel

When I start the ape service I get no errors.

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
