Ok, I managed to resolve the problem. Actually it was a stupid problem, I added the hosts to my host OS but it was incomplete, I had to add the ape.local.ape-project.org and a list of the possible sub-domains "frequencies" #.ape.local.ape- project.org, I added a list from 0 to 9 .
It was never a port problem. hope some body will make use of the problem I had.
