Yes indeed! I have started to spread it locally:

I've been looking at the list (and adding new items). I think two of
them should be split into several language pairs as the Google in
software will close the task after the first language pair will be
done (if I'm wrong, please tell me because I'll be glad to use this
kind of open tasks):
Update the Apertium TinyLex J2ME apps for one language pair
Create an Apertium TinyLex J2ME app for a new language pair
I think the first one is very important. Efforts geared toward creating
new language pairs should go towards creating a "canonical" language
pair, although I know this is not exactly bite-size.
