Hi Amit,
it's a bit early for GSoC 2015. Apertium will apply to be a GSoC 2015
organization, but there is no guarantee that we will get it. We will apply
in March, and know about it on March 2. Then students will be able to
apply. There will be a list of ideas for students to shape their projects.
The GSoC 2014 list [1] may give you an idea: some ideas have not been
implemented in GSoC 2014. Of course, it is a good idea for you to start
interacting with the Apertium community, basically through our IRC channel,
or through this list.
