Hello,

I installed an OS (Debian 12) on a specific partition :
Minimal installation + tools to compile Apertium languages and pairs and
doing translations.

When booting on this partition compilation and translations work normally.

When doing a chroot to this partition from another Linux version, I get :

echo "Bonjour, je suis une phrase à traduire" | apertium fr-es
Error: file '/dev/stdin' not found.
USAGE: apertium [-d datadir] [-f format] [-u] <direction> [in [out]]
-d datadir directory of linguistic data
-f format one of: txt (default), html, rtf, odt, odp, docx, wxml, xlsx,
pptx,
(...)

apertium fr-es my_file
bash: /dev/fd/63: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

These are general errors not depending on the language pair and not
happening with standards GNU/Linux tools.

What is the problem ?
