The reason is: their economy is in same shape as ours and Brown has addressed the problem the same way the USG has. The USG told AGI they couldn’t pay bonuses (boni?) or hold elaborate sale conventions because they recd bail out money. They told auto execs they couldn’t fly to Washington to be interrogated by a congressional committee. The USG is telling bankers how much they can pay their execs because they accepted (under duress) *TARP* money. They quote: he who pays the pipers calls the tune. These are all management decisions they're making. I’ve got a question. How much does the USG owe the Republic of China ?
